Do you accept insurance?

Services may be covered at least in part by your health insurance, employee benefit plan (EAP), or flexible health spending account (HSA). Please verify your coverage with your insurance company by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have outpatient mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • What is the coverage amount (%) per therapy session?
  • Is a referral required from my primary care physician?

We provide all applicable documentation for claim submission to your insurance company. You may be required to activate your benefits with your insurance company to use such benefits as your EAP account or HSA.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, cash, credit cards or PayPal (pending).

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel a session, please provide 24 hours  advanced notice. Otherwise, you may be responsible for the full payment (charged to you, not your insurance company). You can leave a message on my voicemail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a courtesy, we try to provide a text reminder 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Is medication required?

As a psychotherapist, we are not licensed to prescribed medication. However, based on your unique situation, it maybe advisable for you to consult with a health care professional (i.e., medical doctor, psychiatrist or nurse practitioner) to determine whether medication is needed.
